Honey Chilli Wings

Sticky, sweet, spicy, a little char for crispy bits and 100% finger licking delicious wings, well, I think so anyways!

INGREDIENTS

  • Honey Hog Rub

  • Garlic Butter Rub

  • 2kg’s Chicken Wings

    Basting Sauce

  • 1-2 tablespoons Lee Kum Kee Chilli Garlic Sauce

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon ketjap manis

  • 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon honey

  • 2 teaspoons freshly grated ginger

  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil

METHOD

  1. Dust 2kgs of chicken wings in a blend of @smokeyjoesrubs Honey Hog and Garlic Butter rubs.

  2. Heat ingredients of basting sauce in a small saucepan and simmer for a few minutes.

  3. Glaze the wings in the basting sauce 15 minutes prior to the end of the cook.

  4. Chargrill the chicken until cooked.

  5. Garnished with fresh chives, sesame seeds and a drizzle of my favourite sticky chilli ginger sauce.
